Hampton, NH USA - Vitronics Soltec has announced it has recently reached sales milestones for two models of its reflow soldering machinery. In just the past few weeks Vitronics Soltec USA shipped its 4,000th XPM reflow soldering machine and Vitronics Soltec China shipped its 1000th MR reflow soldering machine.

Since the XPM platform was introduced in 1999, over 4,000 units have been installed and are in production worldwide. The most recent XPM model, the XPM3i, was introduced in 2010.

"Our XPM reflow machines are considered the workhorse of the industry and it's evident that demand for these machines continues to be extremely strong,” said Laurie Hume, Business Unit Manager of Vitronics Soltec USA. "We are very proud to reach the 4,000 machine milestone."

Hume mentioned that the 4,000th XPM was shipped from the company's new Camdenton, Missouri facility. The transition of all USA production from Stratham, New Hampshire to Camdenton took place between April and July of this year; since the transition was completed, numerous Vitronics Soltec XPM reflow systems have been shipped to customers from the Camdenton location.

The Vitronics Soltec MR reflow machine is manufactured at the company's plant in Suzhou, China. The Suzhou plant was opened in 2003 and in a few short years, the MR machines have gained wide recognition in the market and are being shipped to customers worldwide.

"With the shipment of our 1,000th MR machine, we are certainly proud of our Suzhou plant and its persistent efforts that have enabled our success," said Wilson Jiang, General Manager of Vitronics Soltec for the Asia Pacific region. "With constant improvements towards operational excellence we have set up a long term development schedule that will continue to propel our business to an even higher level."
