Warranty Statement

Vitronics Soltec warrants to the first and original equipment owner (hereinafter referred to as “CUSTOMER”) of original Vitronics Soltec equipment that its products will conform to published specifications in effect at time of receipt of written “CUSTOMER” order. These specifications are available upon request.

Vitronics Soltec further warrants all Vitronics Soltec system components (parts) and provides field labor for a period of one (1) year from installation date, or thirty days after delivery, whichever comes first. Typical field working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am through 5:00pm of local time.

All Vitronics Soltec products must be installed by either Vitronics Soltec personnel, Vitronics Soltec factory trained agents and distributors, or other Vitronics Soltec factory trained third parties in good standing. All Vitronics Soltec products must be installed as specified by Vitronics Soltec, maintained by qualified service personnel, and operated in accordance with published Vitronics Soltec operating procedures.

Vitronics Soltec further warrants Vitronics Soltec Solder Reflow or Curing equipment, all cell (zone) blower motor assemblies and cell (zone) heaters will carry an equipment lifetime warranty of parts only replacement, this warranty applies to first and original owners only.

Vitronics Soltec further warrants Vitronics Soltec Wave Soldering and Vitronics Soltec Selective Soldering equipment, all solder baths will carry an additional four (4) years parts only replacement, in case of solder bath leakage.

For purposes of foregoing warranties, the first use of installation shall be the date of installation, or thirty days after delivery, whichever comes first. If “CUSTOMER” elects to defer the shipment and the installation of the equipment from the date that Vitronics Soltec informs “CUSTOMER” in writing that such equipment is ready for shipment and installation, all of the above warranties shall remain in full force and effect.

If “CUSTOMER” believes a product to be defective in material and workmanship or failing to meet the specifications, “CUSTOMER” shall notify Vitronics Soltec in writing of such alleged defect or failure. Vitronics Soltec shall have a reasonable opportunity to investigate any alleged defect or failure and upon its confirmation of the existence thereof, Vitronics Soltec shall promptly remedy the same by repair or replacement, at is discretion, and the replacement parts will be supplied free of charge. Vitronics Soltec warrants parts repaired or replaced for duration of the original warranty period.

LIMITATIONS
The warranties specified by this document do not apply to (1) “wear parts” as they may be defined in the spare parts kit lists for the respective product, or (2) defects or failures as a result of non compliance with Vitronics Soltec’s installation specifications, or (3) “CUSTOMER’s” failure to perform recommended normal maintenance, set-up and the adjustment of the equipment, or (4) “CUSTOMER’s” alteration/modification to equipment without Vitronics Soltec prior written approval, or (5) damages to Vitronics Soltec’s equipment resulting from non compliance with published operating procedures, or (6) the use of replacement parts not supplied by Vitronics Soltec or Vitronics Soltec’s approved suppliers, or (7) damages occurred during transport and installation. (8) damages occurred with the use of caustic or corrosive materials introduced into or onto equipment.

All warranties specified by this document are NOT transferable.

Vitronics Soltec does not represent or warrant that the products supplied hereunder comply with any local laws or ordinances and “CUSTOMER” will assume complete responsibility for compliance with local laws and ordinances and obtain all permits, licenses, authorizations or certificates required by any regulatory body for installation or use of the products.

Vitronics Soltec is not liable for any consequential or special damages resulting directly or indirectly from the design, material, workmanship, operation or installation of any of its products and neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for it any other liability in connection therewith.

PRODUCT OBSOLESCENCE POLICY
Vitronics Soltec will commit to full service and spare parts support up to 7 years after a product is discontinued. Vitronics Soltec will commit to limited service and spare parts support up to 10 years after a product is discontinued.

Vitronics Soltec reserves the right to alter any of the terms and conditions of this warranty at any time.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER STATUTORY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR USE AND MERCHANTABILITY, EXCEPT AS TO TITLE.
